Beijing Enlight Media acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Big Fish and Begonia was released on 8th July 2016 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Big Fish and Begonia was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹56 crore. Editing was done by Tu Yiran. The music was composed by Kiyoshi Yoshida.
