Bicentennial Man is a 1999 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Robin Williams, Sam Neill, Embeth Davidtz, Wendy Crewson, Oliver Platt, Kiersten Warren and René Peraza. The movie is inspired from The Positronic Man by Isaac Asimov Robert Silverberg The Bicentennial Man by Isaac Asimov. Touchstone Pictures in association with Columbia Pictures, 1492 Pictures, Laurence Mark Productions and Radiant Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Chris Columbus, Wolfgang Petersen, Gail Katz, Laurence Mark, Neal Miller, Mark Radcliffe and Michael Barnathan. Bicentennial Man is written by Isaac Asimov, Robert Silverberg and Nicholas Kazan and it is directed by Chris Columbus. Buena Vista Pictures Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bicentennial Man was released on 2nd March 2000 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. Bicentennial Man was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $87 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Nicholas Kazan. Cinematography was done by Phil M heux and editing by Neil Travis. The music was composed by James Horner.
