Bhoothnath Returns

A ghost named Bhoothnath, who failed to scare any child, returns to India where he finds a young boy named Akhrot who helps him scare children and inspires him to run for political office against a corrupt politician named Bhau. Bhoothnath Returns is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Parth Bhalerao, Boman Irani, Usha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala and Raj Mishra. Bhoothnath Returns was Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra. Bhoothnath Returns is written by Kamaljeet Negi, Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain, Nikhil Mehrota, Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwani Chopra, Hanif Chunawala, Ajay Kapoor, Madhav Roy Kapur, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Satish Mane, Ajay Rai, Navmeet Singh and Nikhil Mehrotra and it is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. T-Series Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bhoothnath Returns was released on 9th April 2014 and takes a screen time of 155 minutes. Bhoothnath Returns was made on a budget of ₹36 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹33 crore. Cinematography was done by Kamaljeet Negi and editing by Chandrashekhar Prajapati. The music was composed by Palash Muchhal along with Ram Sampath, Salim Merchant, Shekhar Ravjiani, Sulaiman Merchant, Vishal Dadlani, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meet Bros Anjjan and Hitesh Sonik. At the 2015 National Film Awards It won an award for Special Mention.
