A group of friends embark on a road trip to film a documentary in an abandoned house, but their fun adventure turns into a horrifying experience filled with paranormal activities, leading them to question their sanity and fight for survival against a malevolent presence in the treacherous setting. Bhoot Chaturdashi is a 2019 Indian Bengali-language Horror Thriller motion picture starring Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan, Mrinmoy Adhikari, Soumendra Bhattacharya, Aryann Bhowmik, Gautam Chakraborty and Ena Saha. AVA Productions in association with E4 Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and Gauri Shinde. Bhoot Chaturdashi is written by Mainak Bhaumik and Gauri Shinde and it is directed by Gauri Shinde. NH Studioz acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bhoot Chaturdashi was released on 17th May 2019 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Bhoot Chaturdashi was made on a budget of ₹22 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹139 crore. Cinematography was done by Laxman Utekar and editing by Hemanti Sarkar. The music was composed by Amit Trivedi.
