Bharathi Kannamma

In Devar Palayam, a landlord challenges the caste system by doing his own household work, saves the daughter of a wealthy landlord who falls in love with him, but remains loyal to her father; despite obstacles, their love is discovered and they are separated due to caste differences, leading to the protagonists suicide and the fathers realization of their love, adopting the protagonists sister and embracing equality. Pankaj Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Henry. The film is written and directed by Cheran Pandian.
