Bhadradeepam

Rajasekharan, a wealthy businessman, is married to Usha, and is leading a happy family life. One day Usha dies and Rajasekharan suspects she was poisoned by her close friend Rajani. In order to take revenge, he marries Rajani and forces upon her a bleak life devoid of all pleasure. Eventually Rajasekharan discovers that Rajani had nothing to do with his Usha s death, but it is too late by then. Bhadradeepam is a 1973 Indian Malayalam-language Drama movie starring Prem Nazir, Sujatha, Adoor Bhasi, Khadeeja, T.s. Muthaiah, T.r. Omana and Vincent. The movie is inspired from Durgam by P. R. Shyamala. Sree Saradasathya Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sharada and T. Sathyadevi. Bhadradeepam is written by M. Krishnan Nair and S. L. Puram Sadanandan and it is directed by M. Krishnan Nair. Sree Saradasathya Combines acquired the distribution rights for the film. Cinematography was done by S. J. Thomas and editing by V. P. Krishnan. The music was composed by M. S. Baburaj.
