Betaabi

The movie revolves around two families who plan to marry their children but encounter conflict when the wealthy father wants his daughter to marry his business partners son instead, leading to a kidnapping plot twist. Betaabi is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie starring Arshad Warsi, Chandrachur Singh, Anjala Zaveri, Mayuri Kango, Shakti Kapoor, Rakesh Bedi and Gulshan Grover. SP Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paramjeet Baweja. Betaabi is written by Robin Bhatt and directed by Rajesh Kumar Singh. Betaabi was released on 5th September 1997. Betaabi was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robin Bhatt and Akash Khurana. Cinematography was done by Damodar Naidu and editing by Kuldip K. Mehan. The music was composed by National Award winner Vishal Bhardwaj.
