Before the Rains

A young Indian man named T.K. Neelan becomes conflicted when his British boss, Henry, has an affair with a married village woman, leading to tragic consequences and a mistaken accusation of murder, ultimately resulting in the disintegration of Henrys marriage and T.K.s struggle to regain his honor. The movie is directed by Santosh Sivan. Roadside Attractions acquired the distribution rights for the film. The film has a running time of 96 minutes. Before the Rains was made on a budget of ₹12 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Cathy Rabin. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by Steven Cohen. The music was composed by Mark Kilian.
