Two brothers travel to Germany for Oktoberfest, only to stumble upon a secret, centuries-old competition described as a Fight Club with beer games. Beerfest is a 2006 American English-language Comedy film featuring Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Will Forte and Paul Zepeda. Legendary Pictures in association with Gerber Pictures, Cataland Films and Broken Lizard. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bill Gerber and Richard Perello. Beerfest is written by Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske and Broken Lizard and it is directed by Jay Chandrasekhar. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Beerfest was released on 25th August 2006 and takes a screen time of 111 minutes. Beerfest was made on a budget of $17 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $20 million. Cinematography was done by Frank G. DeMarco and editing by Lee Haxall. The music was composed by Nathan Barr.
