Bedazzled

A socially awkward man named Elliot is targeted by the Devil, who offers him seven wishes in exchange for his soul, but each wish has unforeseen consequences, and after seeking help from a priest, Elliot is arrested and thrown in jail by the Devil disguised as a police officer, until his cellmate advises him that he can break the contract, leading Elliot to end up in Hell, but his selfless wish for someones happiness allows him to wake up realizing that Heaven and Hell can be found on Earth, and he moves on with his life, finding happiness with his neighbor, while the Devil and his cellmate observe them, suggesting that they have accepted their flaws and found happiness. Bedazzled is a 2000 American English-language Comedy Fantasy motion picture starring Brendan Fraser, Elizabeth Hurley, Frances O connor, Miriam Shor, Orlando Jones, Paul Adelstein and Jude North. The movie is inspired from Bedazzled by Peter Cook & Dudley Moore. Machlis and it is directed by Harold Ramis. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
