Barsaat

An Indian car designer falls in love with the granddaughter of an auto company chairman in the US but must get a divorce from his childhood sweetheart before they can marry, only to realize he still loves her when he returns to India with the encouragement of his American love interest. Barsaat is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language Action Romance movie featuring Bobby Deol, Twinkle Khanna, Raj Babbar, Mukesh Khanna, Danny Denzongpa, Bipasha Basu and Vijay Saxena. Shree Krishna International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dharmendra and Rajesh Khanna. Barsaat is written by Suneel Darshan, Robin Bhatt, Shyam Goel, Rumi Jaffery, K.k. Singh, Shyam Gupta and Rajkumar Santoshi and it is directed by Suneel Darshan and Rajkumar Santoshi. Vijayta Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Barsaat was released on 6th October 1995 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Barsaat was made on a budget of ₹8 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹19 crore. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by V. N. Mayekar. The music was composed by Nadeem Akhtar Saifi along with Nadeem-shravan and Louis Banks.
