The movie is based on Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell Patrick Robinson. Carpediem Film and Television in association with OD Media. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Peter Berg, Sarah Aubrey, Randall Emmett, Norton Herrick, Barry Spikings, Akiva Goldsman, Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson and Vitaly Grigoriants. The motion picture is written and directed by Peter Berg. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Barayan was released on 12th January 2018 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Cinematography was done by Tobias Schliessler and editing by Colby Parker Jr. The music was composed by Explosions In The Sky along with Steve Jablonsky.
