Two men from different religious backgrounds, manipulated into carrying out a suicide bomb attack, meet and form a bond while falling in love with the same woman, but ultimately choose to sacrifice themselves to save others during a chaotic terrorist incident. Bangistan is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arya Babbar, Tomasz Karolak, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Mox Rathore. Excel Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Bangistan is written by Puneet Krishna, Sumit Purohit and Karan Anshuman and it is directed by Karan Anshuman. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Bangistan was released on 7th August 2015 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. Bangistan was made on a budget of ₹29 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Szymon Lenkowski. The music was composed by Ram Sampath.
