Horror Thriller
A group of people including an aspiring filmmaker visit a haunted house in Ooty where they encountered spooky events and discovers the injustice done to the ghost victims, with the film in the end being revealed to be shown in a theatre where real ghosts appear and takes revenge on a film person who plans to demand money due to the films controversial content. Balloon is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Horror Thriller film starring Jai, Anjali, Yogi Babu, Karthik Yogi, Janani Iyer, Ramachandran and Chandini Tamilarasan. 70mm Entertainment and Farmer s Master Plan Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dhilip Subbarayan, Arun Balaji and Nandakumar. The film is written and directed by Sinish Sreedharan. Auraa Cinemas acquired the distribution rights for the film. Balloon was released on 29th December 2017 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹10 crore. Cinematography was done by R. Saravanan and editing by Ruben. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
