An elderly couple wish their children to care for them in their old age. But their children and treat them as a burden, and they must struggle to regain their worth and dignity to themselves and others. Baghban is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance movie featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Salman Khan, Aman Verma, Samir Soni, Mahima Chaudhry and Aarzoo. Baghban was Produced by Bharat S Shah and B. R. Chopra. Baghban is written by Shafiq Ansari, Satish Bhatnagar, B.r. Chopra, Ram Govind, Josephine Lawrence, Helen Leary, Nolan Leary and Achala Nagar and it is directed by Ravi Chopra. B. R. Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Baghban was released on 3rd October 2003 and takes a screen time of 183 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Baghban was made on a budget of ₹10 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹20 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Achala Nagar, Satish Bhatnagar, Ram Govind and Shafiq Ansari. Cinematography was done by Barun Mukherjee and editing by Shailendra Doke, Godfrey Gonsalves and Shashi Mane. The music was composed by Uttam Singh along with Aadesh Shrivastava.
