Baghavat

In a drought-ridden region, Maharaj Singhs attempt to help his suffering people is met with resistance from his Senapati and Mahamantri, leading to his murder, the escape of Maharani and her son Amar with the help of Sher Khan, and the subsequent rebellion against the oppressive rule of the new cruel ruler, Vikram, as Amar, imprisoned and tortured, fights for survival and falls in love with Vikrams sister Padmavati. Baghavat is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language Action Romance film starring Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Reena Roy, Amjad Khan, Sujit Kumar, Padma Chavan and B.m. Vyas. Sagar Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramanand Sagar. Baghavat is written by Rajinder Krishan and directed by Ramanand Sagar. Baghavat was released on 29th July 1982. The screenplay for the movie was written by K. K. Shukla. Cinematography was done by K. Vaikunth and editing by Lachhman Dass. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
