A woman marries into a wealthy family as a servant but faces mistreatment from her sister-in-laws and her and her husbands departure leaves his abusive brothers to care for their aging mother, who they ultimately kick out of the house while Gopal becomes a successful musician and his brothers rely on him for financial support.
