Anna accidentally scars her head while attempting to relax her hair, leading to a series of strange events involving her work at a television station, violent dreams, and her hair ultimately killing her landlord, as she unravels a scheme involving the controlling abilities of certain hair products. Bad Hair was Produced by Justin Simien, Julia Lebedev, Angel Lopez and Eddie Vaisman. The motion picture is written and directed by Justin Simien. Hulu acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bad Hair was released on 23rd October 2020 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. Bad Hair was made on a budget of $8 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Cinematography was done by Topher Osborn and editing by Phillip J. Bartell and Kelly Matsumoto. The music was composed by Kris Bowers.
