Two brothers who work as firefighters together face internal conflicts, external threats, and corruption within the firefighting community, ultimately sacrificing themselves to save each other and expose the truth. Lewis, John Watson, Pen Densham and Brian Grazer. Backdraft is written by Gregory Widen and directed by Ron Howard. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Backdraft was released on 24th May 1991 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Backdraft was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $152 million. Cinematography was done by Mikael Salomon and editing by Daniel P. Hanley and Mike Hill.
