Babruvahana

Arjuna, one of the Pandavas, goes on a journey after accidentally intruding on his brother and sister-in-laws privacy, gets married to Princess Chitrangada and Uluchi, elopes with his sister, participates in the Mahabharata war, and is eventually killed by his son Babruvahana but revived with the help of Sanjeevani-mani and reunited with his family. Babruvahana is a 1977 Indian Kannada-language Drama Action film featuring Rajkumar, B. Saroja Devi, Jayamala, Saroja Devi B., Jaymala Adarsh, Kanchana Devi and D. Bheema Rao. Rajkamal Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. C. N. Chandrashekhar. Babruvahana is written by Hunsur Krishnamurthy and Srikanth and it is directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy. Rajkamal Arts acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Babruvahana was released on 16th February 1977 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Babruvahana was made on a budget of ₹35 lakh and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Hunsur Krishnamurthy.
