Baadshah

Baadshah, a detective aspiring to follow in his late fathers footsteps, faces challenges in finding clients until he takes a case to help a man find a suitable bachelor for his daughter, only to fall in love with her, leading to a case of mistaken identity and getting caught up in a dangerous plot to protect the CM of Goa. Baadshah is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Shah Rukh Khan, Twinkle Khanna, Johnny Lever, Raakhee, Amrish Puri, Rakhee Gulzar and Sharad Sharma. Venus Records & Tapes was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bharat S Shah, Girish Jain and Bhawar Jain. Baadshah is written by Shyam Goel and Neeraj Vora and it is directed by Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla, Mastan Alibhai Burmawalla and Abbas-mustan. B4U Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Baadshah was released on 27th August 1999 and takes a screen time of 176 minutes. Baadshah was made on a budget of ₹90 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹65 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Shyam Goel. Cinematography was done by Thomas Xavier. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik along with Surendra Singh Sodhi and Surinder Sodhi.
