After adopting one of the twin sons of their maid, one of the twins is raised by a wealthy family while the other grows up in a small village, and years later, when the village twin falls in love with the daughter of a rich man, his twin brother returns, and misunderstandings and accusations arise, but ultimately the truth about their identity is revealed.
