A group of friends from Northeast India face challenges as they search for a special ingredient to cook a traditional dish for their friends wedding, facing objections from other tenants and landlords while trying to keep it a secret, but ultimately manage to prepare the dish just in time for the wedding only to find out it was a long-distance marriage. Axone is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Sayani Gupta, Vinay Pathak, Dolly Ahluwalia, Lin Laishram, Adil Hussain, Asenla Jamir and Samir Chandra. Axone was Produced by Siddharth Anand Kumar and Vikram Mehra. The movie is directed by Nicholas Kharkongor. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Axone was released on 12th June 2020 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by Parasher Baruah and editing by Suresh Pai. The music was composed by Papon along with M. Mangangsana, Mangka Mayanglambam and Tajdar Junaid.
