A police officer discovers that a mans father is involved in illegal activities and must convince him to stop to ensure the safety of the community while avoiding conflict between the man and his father. Tips Industries was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Sadhuram Taurani, Ramesh Sadhuram Taurani, Kumar S. Taurani and Ramesh Taurani. Auzaar is written by Anwar Khan and directed by Sohail Khan. Disney India Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Auzaar was released on 28th February 1997 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. Auzaar was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Kaka Thakur and editing by A. Muthu. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik.
