Attakathi

Dinakaran, a teenager from a village near Chennai, fails his English exam and shifts his focus to finding love, but after facing rejection and violence, he ultimately decides to prioritize his studies, leading him to college and gaining respect from others, but he later discovers that the girl he fell for, Poornima, never loved him, leading him to move on, become a teacher, and eventually get married. Attakathi is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Romance movie featuring Nandita Swetha, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dinesh Ravi, Shalini, Sophia, Jangiri Madhumitha and Yogi Babu. Thirukumaran Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) C. V. Kumar. The motion picture is written and directed by Pa Ranjith and Pa. Ranjith. Studio Green acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Attakathi was released on 15th August 2012 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Attakathi was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹35 crore. Cinematography was done by P. K. Varma and editing by Leo John Paul. The music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
