A Brahmin priest is accused of theft, and forced to flee his village and soon gets involved in the underworld in Mumbai, helps a criminal to turn towards religion and leave the criminal world behind after his sons death, gets imprisoned for five years for apprehending the murderers but upon his release, he returns to Kerala to seek revenge against his accusers and proves his innocence but ends up meeting a tragic end after his lover Nirmala is killed. Aaryan is a 1988 Indian Malayalam-language Action Drama movie starring Ramya Krishnan, Sharat Saxena, M. G. Soman, Gavin Packard, Shobana, Mohanlal Viswanathan and Milind Gawli. Cheers Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohanlal and Century Kochumon. Aaryan is written by T. Damodaran and directed by Priyadarshan Nair. Century Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aaryan was released on 1st January 1988 and takes a screen time of 173 minutes. Cinematography was done by S. Kumar and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Reghu Kumar along with Johnson.
