After witnessing someone jump into the ocean, Geetanjali agrees to marry a spoiled college student out of fear, but eventually falls in love with someone else who had previously saved her life. Arya is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language Action Drama film starring Allu Arjun, Anu Mehta, Siva Balaji, Anuradha Mehta, Rajan P. Dev, Vidya and Ramana Murthi J.v. Sri Venkateswara Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dil Raju. The movie is written and directed by Sukumar Bandreddi. Sri Venkateswara Creations acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Arya was released on 1st January 2004 and takes a screen time of 151 minutes. Arya was made on a budget of ₹7 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹96 lakh. Cinematography was done by R. Rathnavelu and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. At the 2005 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Director.
