Columbia Pictures in association with Aardman Animations and Sony Pictures Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Peter Lord, David Sproxton, Carla Shelley and Steve Pegram. Arthur Christmas is written by Peter Baynham and Sarah Smith and it is directed by Sarah Smith and Barry Cook. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Arthur Christmas was released on 1st December 2011 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Arthur Christmas was made on a budget of $100 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $147 million. Cinematography was done by Jericca Cleland and editing by James Cooper and John Carnochan.
