Apradh

In Germany, a thief named Rita deceives a jeweler into giving her a valuable necklace, which turns out to be a counterfeit, and seeks help from a Grand Prix racer named Ram, who returns the necklace to her; upon their return to India, Ram is wrongly arrested for having diamonds, but is later released, leading to him and Rita, who is actually named Meena, getting married and committing to a truthful life, until Rams brother coerces him into joining the smuggling business, resulting in tragic outcomes.
