A man named Sakthi, who killed a police officer, is aided in his escape by a woman named Rekha, but her true motives of protecting him and uncovering a larger conspiracy or seeking vengeance against the police force remain unknown, leaving unanswered questions about the impact of her decision on their future. Appaji is a 1996 Indian Kannada-language Drama movie featuring Aamani, Pankaj Dheer, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Vishnuvardhan Kumar, Sihikahi Chandru, Brahmavar and Vijaya Sarathi. Surya International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) H. S. Janakiram and C. S. Manju. Appaji is written by Richard Louis and directed by D. Rajendra Babu. Appaji was released on 4th January 1996 and takes a screen time of 139 min. The screenplay for the movie was written by D. Rajendra Babu. Cinematography was done by Prasad Babu and editing by K. Balu. The music was composed by M. M. Keeravani.
