Aparupa

In colonial Assam, a young womans marriage to a wealthy tea-planter proves to be a suffocating prison as he neglects her, leading her to feel like a commodity, until an old classmate and former lover, now an army officer, visits and she becomes drawn to him in her search for fulfillment.
