Another Year

The film explores the lives of an older married couple, Tom and Gerri, who have a loving relationship, but are surrounded by unhappy friends and family, including Gerris desperate and depressed friend Mary, and Toms unmarried son Joe, who faces tension with Mary and his new girlfriend throughout the seasons, ultimately culminating in Mary seeking forgiveness and appearing lost and uncertain. Another Year is a 2010 English-language Comedy Drama film featuring Lesley Manville, Jim Broadbent, Ruth Sheen, Oliver Maltman, Peter Wight, David Bradley and Lisa Mcdonald. Thin Man Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Georgina Lowe. The movie is written and directed by Mike Leigh. Momentum Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Another Year was released on 5th November 2010 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Another Year was made on a budget of $8 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $19 million. Cinematography was done by Dick Pope and editing by Jon Gregory.
