Anomalisa is a 2016 American English-language Animation Comedy motion picture starring David Thewlis, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tom Noonan. The movie is based on Anomalisa by Francis Fregoli. HanWay Films in association with Starburns Industries and Snoot Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Charlie Kaufman, Duke Johnson, Rosa Tran and Dino Stamatopoulos. Anomalisa is written by Charlie Kaufman and directed by Duke Johnson and Charlie Kaufman. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Anomalisa was released on 30th December 2015 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Anomalisa was made on a budget of $8 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Charlie Kaufman. Cinematography was done by Joe Passarelli and editing by Garret Elkins. The music was composed by Carter Burwell.
