A foster kid, who lives with her mean foster mom, s her life change when business tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Annie is a 2014 American English-language Comedy Drama movie starring Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhan Wallis, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Cameron Diaz, Adewale Akinnuoye-agbaje and Autumn Miller. The movie is inspired from Annie by Charles Strouse Martin Charnin Thomas Meehan and Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray. Columbia Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures and Overbrook Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Will Smith, Caleeb Pinkett, Jay Brown, James Lassiter, Will Gluck, Jada Pinkett Smith, Shawn jay-z Carter, Laurence jay Brown and Tyran ty Ty Smith. Annie is written by Emma Thompson, Will Gluck, Aline Brosh Mckenna, Thomas Meehan and Harold Gray and it is directed by Will Gluck. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Annie was released on 18th December 2014 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Annie was made on a budget of $65 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $136 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Will Gluck and Aline Brosh McKenna. Cinematography was done by Michael Grady and editing by Tia Nolan. The music was composed by Greg Kurstin along with Sia.
