Angoor

The movie revolves around the lives of two sets of identical twins who were separated at birth and reunited in adulthood, causing chaos and confusion for their families and others around them. Angoor is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language Comedy movie featuring Sanjeev Kumar, Moushumi Chatterjee, Deepti Naval, Deven Verma, Aruna Irani, Padma Chavan and Saigal. The movie is inspired from The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare. A. R. Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jai Singh. The film is written and directed by Gulzar Kalra. Angoor was released on 5th March 1982. Angoor was made on a budget of ₹25 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹24 lakh. Cinematography was done by M. Sampat and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman.
