The true story of how a seal named Andre befriended a little girl and her family, circa 1962. Andre is a 1994 American English-language Adventure Drama film featuring Keith Carradine, Tina Majorino, Keith Szarabajka, Chelsea Field, Shane Meier, Aidan Pendleton and Tory The Sea Lion. The movie is inspired from A Seal Called Andre by Harry Goodridge & Lew Dietz. The Kushner-Locke Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Annette Handley & Adam Shapiro. Andre is written by Harry Goodridge, Lew Dietz and Dana Baratta and it is directed by George Miller and George T. Miller. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Andre was released on 17th August 1994 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Andre was made on a budget of $8 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $16 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dana Baratta. Cinematography was done by Thomas Burstyn and editing by Harry Hitner. The music was composed by Spencer Proffer along with Bruce Rowland.
