Ammu is a powerful film about a woman who endures domestic abuse and finds the strength to fight back with the help of an unexpected ally, shedding light on the importance of resilience and bravery in overcoming adversity and supporting victims of abusive relationships. Ammu is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language Drama motion picture starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, Naveen Chandra, Bobby Simha, Parvathi Malaa, Darbha Appaji Ambarisha, Raghu Babu and Srinivasan Elangovan. Stone Bench Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Karthik Subbaraj, Kalyan Subramaniam and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam. The movie is written and directed by Charukesh Sekar. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Ammu was released on 19th October 2022 and takes a screen time of 136 minutes. Cinematography was done by Apoorva Anil Shaligram and editing by Radha Sridhar. The music was composed by Bharath Sankar.
