Amber

A young tribal girl discovers her royal heritage, but must confront palace intrigue and a vengeful plot to kill the king. Amber is a 1952 Indian Hindi-language Action Adventure film starring Raj Kapoor, Agha, Bipin Gupta, Nargis Dutt, Jason D souza, Uday Bhardwaj and Tun Tun. Jagat Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lakshmi Chandrashekar, Anantha Velu and Seth Jagat Narain. Amber is written by Girija Lokesh, Rhiannon Harper, Munshi Sagar Hussain, Dwarka Khosla, Arjun Dev Rashk, Bachoobhai Shukla and Urmila and it is directed by Jayant Desai. Jagat Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Amber was released on 1st January 1952 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Urmila Devi. Cinematography was done by Saju Naik and editing by Dharamvir. The music was composed by Ghulam Mohammed.
