Amanush

Amanush is a film about a zamindars son, Madhu, who faces injustice and corruption but is reformed by Inspector Bhuvan and saves a neighboring village from flooding. Amanush is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family film starring Sharmila Tagore, Uttam Kumar, Utpal Dutt, Prema Narayan, Anil Chatterjee, Abhi Bhattacharya and S.n. Banerjee. The movie is based on Naya Basat. Shakti Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shakti Samanta. Amanush is written by Kamleshwar Prasad Saxena, Gauri Prasanna Mazumder, Shaktipada Rajguru, Prabhat Roy and Shakti Samanta and it is directed by Shakti Samanta. Shakti Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Amanush was released on 21st March 1975 and takes a screen time of 153 minutes.
