A cautious man named Reuben Feffer discovers his wifes infidelity during their honeymoon, leading him to return to New York and start dating an old classmate named Polly who encourages him to take risks, leading to comedic moments and a complicated decision when Reubens wife wants to reconcile, but ultimately Reuben chooses Polly and they embrace a new, adventurous relationship.
