A retired detective and forensic psychologist teams up with a Secret Service agent to apprehend a kidnapper who demands ransom from them, only to later discover that the agent was working with the kidnapper and intends to kill the kidnapped girl, resulting in a confrontation where the detective stops the agent and saves the girl.
