Two individuals, Theodore Finch and Violet Markey, form an unexpected bond in a small town in Indiana and embark on a journey together, but as Violet starts to heal with Finchs support, his troubled past and strange behavior strain their relationship, eventually leading to his disappearance and her heartbreaking discovery of his suicide.
