The story explores the themes of self-deception, consequences, honesty in relationships, and the importance of self-awareness in a man who values his family but ends up trapped in a self-imposed prison. Aik is a 2012 Marathi-language Horror Drama movie starring Saima, Shafqat Cheema, Heera Malik, Haya Ali, Poonam Jadhav, Swapnil Jadhav and Mousami Tondwalkar. Hammad production was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Danish Ghaffar. The film is written and directed by Syed Noor. Regal Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aik was released on 13th July 2012. Aik was made on a budget of $4 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Cinematography was done by Ali Jan. The music was composed by Ustad Tafu.
