Aflatoon

A newcomer to the city is mistaken for a criminal and tries to clear his name in a Marathi comedy film with standout performances by popular actors, blending slapstick comedy and witty dialogue. Aflatoon is a 1991 Indian Marathi-language Crime Romance film starring Ketaki Mategaonkar, Madan Deodhar, Madhu Apte, Priya Arun, Laxmikant Berde, Girish Ghanekar and Ratna Shetty. Eros International in association with Spice Studios & Entertainment Pvt Ltd and V.Patke Films Production. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Krishika Lulla. Aflatoon is written by Sujay Dahake and directed by Girish Ghanekar and Sujay Dahake. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Aflatoon was released on 1st January 1991. Aflatoon was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹5 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sujay Dahake. Cinematography was done by Archana Borhade and editing by B. Mahanteshwar. The music was composed by Hrishikesh-saurabh-jasraj.
