D.C. (Johnny Knoxville) is the crackpot owner of Action Point, a low-rent, out-of-control amusement park with dangerous rides. Just as D.C.'s estranged teenage daughter Boogie (Eleanor Worthington Cox) comes to visit, a corporate mega-park opens nearby and jeopardizes the future of Action Point. To save his beloved theme park and his relationship with his daughter, D.C. and the Action Point staff risk everything to pull out all the stops. Action Point is a 2018 American English-language Comedy motion picture featuring Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Eleanor Worthington-cox, Dan Bakkedahl, Johnny Pemberton, Brigette Lundy-paine and Emmanuel Olaniyan. The movie is based on The Most Insane Amusement Park Ever by Matt Robertson. Gerber Pictures in association with Hello Junior. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Derek Freda, Johnny Knoxville and Bill Gerber. Action Point is written by Derek Freda, Johnny Knoxville, Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky and it is directed by Tim Kirkby. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Action Point was released on 1st June 2018 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. Action Point was made on a budget of $19 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. Cinematography was done by Michael Snyman and editing by Matthew Kosinski and Nicholas Monsour. The music was composed by John Nau along with Andrew Feltenstein and Deke Dickerson.
