Absolute Beginners

In 1958 London, a young photographer named Colin falls in love with a fashion designer named Crepe Suzette but their relationship becomes complicated when Suzettes boss takes advantage of her designs, leading Colin to take a job with a music producer while Suzette desires a more luxurious life, eventually planning to marry her boss for her career, but when Colin discovers a scheme between Suzettes boss and an advertising mogul to redevelop the area and witnesses racial violence during the race riots, he sends incriminating photos and eventually reunites with Suzette, throwing her wedding ring out the window.
