Aatchi

An ordinary person discovers a hidden sum of money in a truck and uses it to enter politics, becoming the chief minister of his state and fighting corruption and injustice to bring positive change to his fellow citizens, facing challenges and opposition from rival politicians. Aatchi is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language Drama Thriller film starring Mammootty, Ranjitha, Roja Selvamani, Aishwarya, Anandraj and Livingston. Aarthi International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Thirupur A. Selvaraj. Aatchi is written by E. Ramdoss and Liaquat Ali Khan and it is directed by R.k. Selvamani and R. K. Selvamani. Aarthi International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aatchi was released on 15th December 1995. The screenplay for the movie was written by R. K. Selvamani. Cinematography was done by M. V. Panneerselvam and editing by V. Udhayashankar. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
