Aashiq is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama film featuring Bobby Deol, Karisma Kapoor, Rahul Dev, Dinesh Hingoo, Vrajesh Hirjee, Smita Jaykar and Aanandee. Shweta International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anil Sharma. Aashiq is written by Rajeev Kaul and Anwar Khan and it is directed by Indra Kumar. Eros Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Aashiq was released on 26th January 2001 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. Aashiq was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹10 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rajeev Kaul, and Praful Parekh. Cinematography was done by Harmeet Singh and editing by Sanjay Sankla. The music was composed by Darshan Rathod along with Sanjeev Rathod and Sanjeev Darshan.
