Aanandam follows the life of 7 second year engineering students as they embark on their very first college tour. The group looks like the perfect circle of friends from the outside, but just like any other friends circle in college, there are small issues, egos, lies and secrets simmering underneath. As the tour starts, slowly but surely the 7 of them start learning about their friends and about each other. We that all is all not well in their picture perfect world. How they face these small issues and overcome it forms the rest of the story. Aanandam is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language Adventure Comedy film starring Arun Kurian, Vishak Nair, Roshan Mathew, Siddhi Mahajankatti, Thomas Mathew, Annu Antony and Rajesh Sharma. Habit of Life in association with Cast N Crew. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vineeth Sreenivasan and Vinod Shornur. The movie is directed by Ganesh Raj. LJ Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aanandam was released on 21st October 2016 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Aanandam was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹20 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ganesh Raj. Cinematography was done by Anend C. Chandran and editing by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The music was composed by Sachin Warrier.
