Aadupuliyattam

A prince falls in love with Chempakam and seeks refuge in a palace after being defeated in a war, but Chempakam sacrifices herself and her spirit haunts the palace, causing death to those who enter; years later, a wealthy businessman named Sathyajith buys the cursed property and must perform rituals to protect his family, facing the consequences of his past actions and the possession of his daughter by a vengeful spirit until Mathangis spirit is set free. Aadupuliyattam is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language Horror Thriller film starring Ramya Krishnan, Om Puri, Sheelu Abraham, Ramesh Pisharody, Saju Navodaya, Akshara Kishor and Antony Thekkek. Grande Film Corporation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur. Aadupuliyattam is written by Sahas Bala and Dinesh Pallath and it is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam. Anto Joseph Film Company acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Aadupuliyattam was released on 20th May 2016. Cinematography was done by Jithu Damodar and editing by Sandeep Nandakumar. The music was composed by Ratheesh Vegha.
